As of 2010, human trafficking represents $31.6 billion internationally traded in one year.
At least 70% of female trafficking victims are exploited into the commercial sex industry which includes pornography, prostitution and other forms of adult entertainment and/or establishments.
The average entry age for an American prostitute is 12-14 years old.
There are more strip clubs in the US than any other nation in the world.
Compared to the general population, women in the adult industry experience much higher rates of: Substance Abuse Issues, Rape and Violent Assault, Sexually Transmitted Diseases, Domestic Violence, Depression, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder & Dissociative Identity Disorder.
Over 85% of women in the adult industry said they wanted to escape but had no other means for survival.
